Set sail on the HMS Russell
It isn't often that Russell gets to talk about the goings-on with MOSH's big brother, Nokia. But here's a piece of news that may make you London MOSHers jump up and down with excitement. Or it may make you casually peruse, ponder and click-through a variety of links. Apparently, it's the internet, and anything's possible.
Nokia's newest flagship store on Regent Street in London (info/directions here) is paying homage to mighty MOSH by holding tutorials and "experience sessions" throughout the weekend. That means that store employees (donning expertly-designed MOSH t-shirts) will be on hand to show off MOSH and walk through its features for users old and new.
"What's a flagship store?" you ask. Basically, it's a magical place made of all things Nokia. You can try, buy and play with phones, internet tablets, and other trinkets that are "connecting people," so to speak (where have I heard that phrase before?). So far, about 8 cities have flagship stores, but it's safe bet that Nokia will continue to add new stores across the globe.
The MOSH sessions will run through 22 April, so this is your chance to get a personal walk-through with MOSH and learn how to better use it on your device. The only thing better would be Russell in your living room, explaing MOSH, right now. Of course, he'd only show up if he were invited. Russell's breaking-and-entering days are long-over.
