Growing Pains
Well MOSH, that's it. My days as a computer scientist are over. With my total ineptitude and lack of sufficient HTML knowledge to blame, I've really made a mess of Russell's blog.
It's tough to call it a blog, actually. Instead, it's a random collection of my thoughts pasted together piece by piece. The text is hard to read, the links don't work half the time, even my feeble attempts at coding "bold" and "italics" failed miserably.
I know I've let you down.
"FTL, Russell," you're saying. "F T L !!!!"
My crap-shoot attempt at HTML programming was weaker than a 3-hour couples ice dancing TV special.
But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The MOSH overlords, in their infinite wisdom and graciousness, are granting me a second chance at blogging. They're giving me a real blog! You know, one with, like, tools, and stuff, to keep me from mucking up MOSH's HTML coding.
The best part is that it will allow you and me to spend more time together. You'll get to know more about me, a/s/l &etc., plan meetups in the forest, privacy guaranteed. You'll even be able to see more of what I do in my spare time, brought to you courtesy of the jpg, mpeg and mp3 formats!
Still, the road to Russell's ultimate glory as a semi-successful Web 3-point-beta-whatever marketer is filled with potholes and detours. You'll notice a steady decay in Russell's current blog...poor formatting, dead hyperlinks, garbled text...the limits of my stupidity knows no bounds.
The blog as it currently stands will become wiki-fied (see what I did there? Marketers use terms like that) as I plan for the conversion. The edits and notes in this "Riki" (I'd add a "tm" if I knew how to code superscript) will come in handy once the real blog comes to life.
Filled with tearful optimism,
Russell

one time i coded myself a delicious cupcake but i was never able to replicate this miracle. subsequent efforts yielded: a pinecone, a phish cd, a glossy of bea arthur. For me, HTML lost its pizzaz.
